Get Your Geek On: An Earth Day Challenge

Get your geek on for Earth Day with the Haribon Foundation on April 26 at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf!

Looking for something exciting to do this Earth Day apart from your usual outdoor feats? How about an eco-quiz challenge over cups of your favorite brewed coffee? This 2017, the global Earth Day campaign focuses on climate and environmental literacy. Around the world, communities will take the lead in educating citizens via teach-ins and information drives.

On April 26, Haribon Foundation invites YOU to a Geek Night, an exciting evening of learning and games in partnership with The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and GeekFight. The Geek Night is composed of two parts: a green talk by a climate expert and a quiz challenge.

Green talk

Be in the know on the world’s latest climate condition and what you can do about the environmental changes that are happening around you. Get it straight from the Country Director of The Climate Reality Project and Haribon member, Mr. Rodne Galicha.

Quiz challenge!

Afterwards, be ready to have your brains picked by a troop of unabated quizzers from the GeekFight. Each participating group will be comprised of four people so gather your friends to form a team. Exciting prizes await geek champions!

• Date: April 26, 2017 (Wednesday)
• Time: 7:00 – 10:00 pm
• Venue: 26th St. Bistro by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Net Lima, BGC (Google map)
• Donation amount: P300 per person

Join us by following the steps below:

1. Each team will be comprised of 4 people so gather your friends to form a team!

2. To reserve your slots, send an email to corporaterelations@haribon.org.ph with:
   -Leader’s name
   -Email address
   -Contact number
   Once sent, please stand by for confirmation email. You may also call us at 911-6088.
3. Send us your donation within 3 days to complete the reservation via any of the following methods:
   a. Online via our U-share portal (Visit the portal then select “Geek On!” campaign and pay thru credit card or dragonpay)
   b. PayPal (Please add P30.00 per person for the processing fee)
   c. Bank Deposit/Online Transfer (Scroll to the bottom of this page for deposit details)
4. Confirm your donation by sending a photo/scan of your deposit slip or a screenshot of your online bank transfer/Paypal payment to corporaterelations@haribon.org.ph.
5. Wait for our confirmation and that’s it!
